Excluded and restricted goods
Normally considered
Business goods that are properly packaged and can be handled and secured safely, within the agreed dimensions and gross weight including pallets and packaging. A stable pallet suitable for a pallet truck is the usual arrangement. Priority Liner is not a parcel or courier service. Multiple collection and delivery addresses are possible when agreed in advance. The vehicle has a maximum payload of 890 kg and up to eight Euro pallet spaces; weight distribution, dimensions and safe handling also determine acceptance.
Only after full disclosure and separate written acceptance
- Fragile or particularly valuable business goods and electronics, after review of packaging, value and handling.
- Alcohol, tobacco and other excise goods; lithium batteries and devices containing them, only when the specific shipment is outside ADR.
- Food and cosmetics without temperature-control needs; liquids in leakproof packaging; machinery that may contain residual fluids.
- Unusual dimensions, centre of gravity, handling or access; temporary storage agreed in advance.
A request or quotation alone does not constitute acceptance. Priority Liner may request additional information, packaging or documents and decides on the specific shipment.
Excluded
- All goods classified as dangerous goods under ADR, even where an exemption, limited quantity or special provision reduces some obligations. Examples include explosives, fireworks, fuel, gas cylinders, hazardous chemicals and hazardous waste.
- Unlawful goods, weapons and ammunition; people; live animals or plants requiring special care.
- Goods needing cooling, heating or temperature monitoring.
- Cash, negotiable securities, jewellery, precious metals, art, vehicles and window glass.
- Waste or substances liable to leak, emit strong odours or damage other cargo; loose unpackaged goods that cannot be handled safely.
If in doubt
Before booking, provide the correct nature and classification of the goods, any UN numbers and safety information, packaging, full dimensions and total gross weight. Disclose any claimed ADR exemption too: Priority Liner does not carry ADR goods. Incorrect or withheld information may result in refusal or suspension at collection and reasonable documented costs under the applicable terms.
